Colin Martinez (b. 1999) is a visual artist and landscape architect who lives and works in Chicago, IL. Through printed works, installation, moving image, and collaboration, his work uncovers a collective regional landscape in which familial history, ecological change, and capital investment interact to produce a precarious unison of the natural and human-made.

Martinez earned his B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University in 2021. In 2023, he and Ira Graham organized a group show titled ‘Habitable Zone’ at Skylab Gallery, and in 2024 he had his first solo show based upon his ongoing project 'ARENA'. He has shown work domestically in Dream Clinic Project Space, the Columbus Cultural Arts Center, and Two Dollar Radio Publishing; and internationally at the Boomer Gallery in London and The Glasgow Center for Photography. In June of 2024 he released his first printed publication of photographs- entitled Soil, Air, Reverence -carried at the Wexner Center for the Arts Bookstore, the Columbus Museum of Art, and in stores in Chicago like Volumes Bookstore, Quimby books, and Everything. His ongoing projects include work in Cleveland with Malena Grigoli's 9314 Sophia Avenue, ARENA (2023- ), and collaborations with Praise Godswill's PROXY
