Martinez earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University in 2021. In 2023, he curated Habitable Zone at Skylab Gallery, which later hosted his 2024 solo exhibition ARENA. He has exhibited his work across the United States—in Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, Kentucky, New Jersey, and Missouri—as well as internationally in the United Kingdom.
In addition to his visual art practice, Martinez frequently publishes volumes of writing, photography, and research. His publications are available at institutions such as the Wexner Center for the Arts, the Columbus Museum of Art, Chicago’s Quimby’s Bookstore, Volume Books, and Everything.
His ongoing projects include collaborations with Malena Grigoli on 9314 Sophia Avenue in Cleveland,OH , his evolving solo project ARENA (2023–), and work with Praise Godswill’s Proxy Proxy Museum.
